Ya Baubles!

A bit of a long lie, some chores, a visit from F, who gave us some treats from Twelve Triangles in exchange for a kids car seat, and then it was time to head out to Kid Canaveral's Xmas Baubles VII, up at Pilrig Church.

A great time, catching up with folk, drinking beer and listening to some great music. Martha Ffion was lovely to listen to, Breakfast Muff are my new favourite find, and the Pictish Trail/James Yorkston and Withered Hand set was too short, but excellent. Full of their banter and songs to sing along to. I saw Iain Rankin (who was also at the gig) describe them as Scotland's sweaty answer to CSN. A perfect description.
