Christmas lunch

The day started sadly with news that our friend Jeff had died in the early hours. You might remember him in his Google tee shirt at his birthday celebrations on October 23rd. Soon after that he suffered a brain stem stroke and spent the next few weeks in intensive care, as in France they won't switch off the machines if there is no hope.
Later we went to an early Christmas lunch at the house of some other friends and here's me with a funny face straw, sipping my fizz!
