It Might As Well Rain Until...
So, On Saturday (I'm back blipping like crazy woman here), we decided to take a trip to Glasgow to see the Christmas lights and to find a little bit of the Christmas Spirit.
Himself and me got a train up about 2.30 - Tooli was going to be at work til 5. We had only been on the train 10 minutes when she text and said she was free -having been cut early.
We arrived in Glasgow and headed to Argyle Street and the St Enoch's German market. We wandered happily round looking at all the tat and smelling all the lovely smells. there was actually quite a lot of nice stuff there - leather satchels especially I spent a lot of time sniffing them.
Then Toolibelle arrived and we wandered around to George Square, where there were three million people squeezed into a tiny space. It was hell on earth. We bought some coconut marcaroons and pastries, and some other little its and bobs.
Then we headed for a coffee, and the train back home - Tooli reflects how I felt, but much prettier.
We were going to eat out in Troon, but by the time we came home, I was soooo tired I couldn't even contemplate going back out. So we took away, and I was tucked up by 9 pm.
