Fairy lights on high

After yesterday's marathon session on the accounts, didn't feel like leaping out of bed this morning to finish them off! So it was after 11.00am by the time I got started, and MrM had left for a solo walk the hills. Worked more or less solidly and finished just before 2.30pm - hooray!

Walked down to the shop with MrM after he arrived back, just as the Christmas lights came on at the top of the church tower - you can just about see them in the blip. They look quite amazing from a distance after dark, like a Christmas tree suspended in the air as, at night, it's difficult to see the tower! 

Planning to embark on some Christmas preparations this evening - writing a few cards would be a start, and maybe find the tree decorations! Two weeks to go and I still haven't made puddings, mincemeat or the cake. So much for being more organised this year...
