Linton Aladdin

Got home from Croydon just in time to go and see Aladdin, written by, and starring 16 year old Lorenzo Zambrana Roberts (the boy in the dress).   Due to a last minute drop out due to illness Lorenzo played the Widow Twankey AND the Genie, causing some hilariously fast costume changes.

As far as I know this is the first panto to be staged in Linton and I was unsure what to expect..at the very least I feared the audience numbers would be quite low.  But I need not have worried, the hall was full and the panto was great fun, with a fabulous set and costumes and talented cast.  Such a lot of work must have gone into producing, performing and marketing it, so hats off to them all.
