Exuberant

I opened the curtains this morning to a couple of starlings having a bath in the pond.
They were certainly having a good splash around.
I was quite surprised to see that they use the same technique as a dog to dry themselves ......... start shaking from the head and work down to the tail.

I spent a bit of time starting to make some needle cases on the lathe today ........ and found one of the missing lids for the box I made the other day - no where near where I thought it had gone!

Other than that - it has been a Sunday .......... doing nothing but catching up on "stuff"  --  and eating.
