Moonrise

After late lunch in a nearby village Margaret and I were returning home in the car and could already see an almost full moon rising in the sky though it was only 3.15pm. I decided to try and capture this early phenomenon and shot out with my camera as soon as I got home. However, I was rather perplexed as it seemed it have completely disappeared. I took the dogs out about a quarter on hour later and there it was shining brightly in a far darker sky. It must have disappeared behind a cloud layer previously. However, this gave me an opportunity to take a far more atmospheric shot
