Dog and donkey

This morning I was in my way to ring the bells and stopped to take yet another photograph of the colonnades of the States Arcade when I heard barking and a little dog ran past chasing pigeons. When it came to the bronze donkey statue it went completely crazy jumping up at it and barking at it.Not really sure why. Even if it looked very lifelike it sure can't have felt lifelike when it jumped up. But it carried on until its owner caught up and they carried on through town.
