On dry land
I thought for a while it was going to be a day I could take a photo of the pier from the other side but in the end it would have involved a bit too much paddling. A wonderful walk though, beautifully sunny and calm and a low tide.
Before that we had breakfast and chats at Hannah's then drove home. Will had his customary tear at the sheer misery of it all but it has been a good restorative weekend all round. Turns out Simon is unique and his case will be presented at conferences, astoundingly he should be home under out patient care by next weekend. It's an astonishingly long and difficult road ahead but you know - quite amazing.
