Yet more birds.....

Went for a walk round the local lake this morning. We were out early enough that most of the people we passed were runners or cyclists rather than walkers, but by the end of the circuit the walkers were more out in force. The light was lovely and I couldn't decide between this shot of a coot that looks as though he's lost something, or a laughing heron. So I've put the heron as an extra.
