Derelict Sunday in Macclesfield

The last few times we've visited Macclesfield I've been eyeing this up for a Derelict Sunday blip. So here it is!

I think they must be planning to rebuild the back of the building whilst maintaining the facade, as it's held up with extensive scaffolding at the other side.

I've included a close-up extra of a 1st floor window showing an intriguing comment written on the wall - "Thanks for your...": I don't suppose we'll ever know who was being thanked for what!
