Too hot

Another windless day so another impulsive decision to go flat out to beat Joe's time on the Cramond prom. Yes! 8 seconds. If only I'd pumped the tyres up to 110 psi yesterday and ridden on the drops I might have done it and not had TFP on top form and beating me by five seconds. Grrr. Just wait 'til I get my Croix de Fer back on the road. That'll show 'em.

If only I'd been a few seconds earlier I'd have caught the firemen dashing in donning their hats and jackets like someone's feet had burst into flames trying on their shoes.
