Aonach Mor

It is my intention to see the view from all the Munros before I ‘compleat’ (sic), and Aonach Mor is one I’ve been up 3 times before, but not had a view. The forecast suggested the hills would be clear with cloud in the glens and overhead, although that was meant to clear after midday. It was a good day, but not as nice as we hoped. We parked at the gondola station and wound our way up through the forest, before emerging onto the boggy slopes of the hill. It was a bit of a flog until we reached the remains of the snow when it was a lot easier. The blip is the summit cairn looking to the Glencoe hills.
