Tiny honeyeater's nest
Strolling along, I saw this little nest on the ground and am 90% sure it is that of a local honeyeater. It had fallen out of a tree & there were no signs of eggshells around so either it had not yet been used or the young have fledged. It is so beautifully made one would wonder how a tiny bird could have such dexterity with only a beak to work with. The centre is about the size of an eggcup.
