I need to properly measure whether the Giles-Parliament-Sandport-WoL-Inverleith-Carrington route is any quicker than the Constitution-Commercial-Hawthornvale-NEPN version, or even the Giles-Parliament-Sandport-WoL-Chancelot-NEPN alternative, by the time traffic lights and so on are factored in. For several days the week before last there was some sort of flow-interruption on Inverleith Row, which must have wiped out any lesser-distance advantage by the time I'd filtered past all the stationary buses to get up to Inverleith Terrace. The wee bit through the park is always quite nice, irrespective of the amounts of sparkly sunny crispy-frostiness or greyness.
