Cantata

Another 2am to bed day; and another early morning! Today it was to be ready for the a/c guys to come back to take a look at Gs unit. The capacitor they replaced on Wednesday has not made a difference to the cooling. They checked a few things, gave it a bit of a clean, absolutely insisted they don't need to change the part the official technician recommended... then went off saying "it is cooling now". I said it wasn't and I will let them know...

G is due another visa run, so we headed for that asap, having to call into IKEA on the way as friend Hilde needs some things. Got all that shopping done in record time, and we were on our way pretty quickly.

Today was the exact right day to do this as there wasn't much traffic, and no queues at the Oman/UAE border! IKEA shopping delivered successfully to Hilde, who travelled down to meet us.

We then raced home and had enough time for a cup of tea, before having to head out again to EBCI's Christmas Cantata; held in the same place as last year. It was good, but I preferred last years' production. We left there early enough, but too tired! I had taken the Christmas tree out in the morning and assembled it. Just need time now to do the lights and finish it. It is very busy here! So glad that we have an extra day off tomorrow! :D There is MUCH I want to accomplish!
