Beauty is all around us.

A Kendal Christmas Collage.

We had a visit this afternoon to Kendal, which is a lovely old town in the Lake District.
We enjoyed a snack at the Chocolate House, very recommendable range of muffins and jam, tea cakes and panninis.
Delicious hot chocolate drinks served with perfect menu.
I had a ginger variety, Paul had chocolate cherry, and Maria had a spicy version which was more festive.
The chocolate shop dates to the 1600s and the shop sells wonderful chocolate gifts.
Then a wander around the indoor market and the food markets outside.
The Christmas trees looked fabulous with colourful baubles and sparkling lights.
Go visit Kendal if you are in the Lakes for Christmas. It is a magical town with many good pubs, cafes, shops, a Santa's grotto and delightful nooks and cranies.
