Getting ready

This is one of the rowing boats getting ready for the Talisker whisky challenge. Either alone, in couples, trios or quads men and ladies row across the Atlantic Ocean in these comparatively small boats to Antigua. It used to be a biennial event but this year, it has become an annual event. The boats were tricky to find and photograph as they are behind a wire enclosure which is out of bounds for the likes of me. They leave next Wednesday providing the weather is OK.
