Went into the city and said goodbye to Henry as he took a train up to Noosa to see his mum at her new place.
When I was in Brisbane last year Henry and I found a group of slackliners in the park. With some time left before my flight, Tahlia and I went down to the gardens again to have a little look for them...and we found one! He was pretty friendly, and let me walk his super springy 20m line.
This picture was taken because "Tahlia's a film student, and she can get away with things like this."
On my train to the airport, I found an artist's portfolio. I tore my name off an old plane ticket and left it inside, tucked away into a collage. Who knows what'll happen...maybe I'll get mistaken for a famous artist...we'll see...
I think it's worth noting the plane on the way back had a built in USB port in the t.v. monitor. We live in the future! I was able to read through all my pdfs as well as browse my photos and recharge my phone.
Getting off the plane in Canberra made me realise how cold it can actually get here in winter. It's no England, but it's definitely no Brisbane either. Was oddly nice to feel like I was home again.
