Mummy, it's a flood

I am no longer shocked by anything the Scottish/British weather has to throw at me. Just look at these two entries: a waterfight in March; and 9 days later, snow in April. So, after fog and heavy rain this morning, followed by glorious sunshine at lunchtime, it didn't surprise me when there was a rattling on the roof that sounded like someone shaking pebbles in a can and the heaviest downpour I have seen for a very long time flooded the road in a matter of seconds. Now, ten minutes later, it is sunny again!
