Works do!

Spent the morning looking at new technology, assistive technology and various new gadgets/websites for social care and health at a training workshop. Office in the afternoon.

This evening was our Christmas party - around 25 of us descended on a local public house (pre-booked of course) for our celebration of Christmas. Nice to see our colleagues out of the work setting, some let their hair down more than others. The tables had a supply of those difficult to blow up thin balloons that when let go make a delicate screeching noise. It was a competition to see which table could make it go furthest (I think most of them just went up, ran out of air then fell to the floor). For a compact set of 3 tables, the pub managed very well with service and getting us hot food.
