The punt

Beatrix Potter themed castle decorations in the castle gave us Jeremy Fisher in the Courtyard. Our very talented carpenter was seen carrying this punt towards the castle yesterday. I stopped him and ran back to the office for my camera. Here is the photo. He was on his way to the castle to give Jeremy a boat. Yes, I said yesterday, because then I left the cmera at work. Today I saw Colin again, on his way to the castle again, because the punt has sprung a leak! Apparently the waterproof varnish is not all it said on the tin! Hope to have a photo of it in situ on Monday!

The end of a very long week! Enjoyable and fun, because I love being involved with the children, and I am actually needed for the Christmas workshops, but muddled up with Patricia Routledge, demands for my budget, new leaflet design, sandford award application(eek) and ww2 book redesign has meant a tiring few days. The car has to go the garage tomorrow for the light problem to be fixed, and my phone hasn't even been looked at yet, I'm promised a diagnosis on Monday!

It will be a busy weekend sorting Christmas!
