A December moth for December....

So here it is, a blip from my moth trap in December, the beautiful December moth Poecilocampa populi. 
An aptly named, fluffy little teddy bear of a moth which flies in November and December, which is quite common across the UK.
Sadly I had to use flash for this shot as it was too dark to get decent focus even at 2 in the afternoon, thank goodness it is only 12 more days to the shortest day......all downhill after that! I can't wait!
