A little sad day as Holland lost one of its dearest cartoonists Peter van Straaten. A year ago at the age of 80 he'd ended his career with the newspapers he published his works in and thus there was no talk since of 'Have you seen the new Van Straaten?!' Annually I bought myself and friends a weekly calendar with his cartoons and feel lucky we have 2017 in the house; this entry is one  from 2016 calendar.
