MILA

13.2C and mostly dull. Light to moderate S/SSW/SSE breeze.

Salmon quiche, as per request from Apothecary7, from the fish shop today. On the way there I called in at a local charity shop to buy a book on The Scottish Colourists which Apothecary7 had spotted in the window. One 35th of the original retail price, bargain !

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for the repeat of our usual morning walking route across the road and round to the park and the harbour and back along through town. Deacon Blue (The Believers then The Hipsters) on the Clip. There were a few boats tied up at the old quay. MILA was at the new quay getting ready to take on cargo. We carried on out to the end of the park and kept on going until we reached the 1 mile from Campbeltown milestone before I thought Maeve would like to go back home.

We came back along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

Afternoon music ... The Rolling Stones, Blue & Lonesome.
