The last rose flower in the garden

I walked in the garden and was delighted to find this rose unfurling. I had no idea they could still flower at this time of the year, but perhaps that is a reflection of the warm temperatures we have been having.

I'd let this rose climb for the first time last summer, and it now has a long stem which is taller than me. I had to get a step ladder to get close to its flower. The wind was very strong so the long stem was continuously bending with each gust which made getting a sharp image tricky. I love its pastel colours and am offering it as part of today's Flower Friday challenge. I want to thank Biker Bear once again for hosting this challenge.
