Black Christmas

I put a small nontraditional Christmas tree up, because I'll be spending it at home. I haven't put a Christmas tree up for 15 years. I'm not much of a fan since my mother passed away. She was always so Christmassy. My dad and I really didn't do much because we did something on Christmas eve. I mostly worked or volunteered on Christmas Day so others could enjoy their families. I know that this will be my last Christmas in my childhood home and I will be spending it alone. Which I'm totally fine with. It's just hard sometimes when your alone. But, I'm a strong person and a new and exciting era is on the horizon.
