Eye of the Beholder
The Mourning Dove has such a lovely coo in the mornings...especially in Spring. The woods are thick with them at the moment. Put out some seed and they can be quite bullies to get the seed. This one simply looked gorgeous as it sat in the faint glow of the sun and soaked up the little bit of warmth offered today, on a bitterly cold one.
"It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it."
~ John Burroughs
