Mzuzu City drying up

8th December 2016:

This well, in contrast to recent days is only about 5km from the factory, in area 1B Mzuzu called the village of Mzuzu Academy.
The people came at the weekend saying that their open pond/hole in the ground had dried up and that they now had no water.

With direction they all got together, dug and then built the well.

They were so thankful to have clean, safe drinking water in less than a week.

The well is 5.8 meters deep and will serve 192 people.
