Unexpected Bird

It's a cold and gloomy day but I needed to get some fresh air.  I decided to visit Brookside Gardens, a favorite location in the warm weather for photos of flowers and butterflies.  I brought my tripod, hoping to spot some birds.  I also wanted to get some exercise so I walked down to the gazebo and pond.  I have never seen a Great Blue Heron in that pond before, but today there was a handsome one standing in the water, in the middle of a flock of geese.  I was having fun getting photos of the heron alone, and with the geese.  Then he surprised me by grabbing a fish.  It was a big, healthy catfish.  In extras, I posted a shot of him sitting on the shoreline after, apparently still fishing.  He has amazing feathers.
