Schloss Quedlinburg

Uli took us on a wee tour today to Thale and Quedlinburg. It's amazing the amount of restoration and renovation that's taken place since the German re-unification; some of the towns are like living museums having escaped the modernisation programmes of the sixties and seventies that destroyed a lot places (or improved them of course!).
Had a great meal tonight and another chinwag but I'm still fighting a cold and am a bit wiped out so it's an early night for me. Back on the road tomorrow, heading South.
