Milton Keynes
I know it's a bit of a lazy, clichéd, shot and reinforces a stereotype, but in my defence, I'd just spent all day in a room with no natural light and this was all I could get before my phone battery died. Having said that, I enjoyed the brief stay in MK. These walkways and underpasses really encourage travel on foot and they keep cars and people apart. There's some decent architecture and the use of land is interesting with office buildings set next to rows of houses. Sure, it doesn't have much of a centre or any real soul, but it's different and it feels and works unlike pretty much anywhere else I've been in the UK.
