Was bringing sunshine to Coney Street on a dark winter day. Beautiful voice, singing opera and traditional carols - you could hear him 300 yards down the street.

I was so taken with the pleasure he was giving everyone, I went straight into Boots and printed the four images I'd taken of him and gave him them. I think he was quite moved - speechless for about the first time in an hour...

Shortly, along came Marianna [extra] , just passing by; they sang the most wonderful "Ave Maria" as an impromptu duet.

Joy to the world indeed.
