All the Fun of the Fair

All the fun of the Christmas Village, in the summer there is much more fun to be had at the permanent Fairground at the beach, here there are maybe five rides to choose from.

As I was going to the cinema today I decided to take the opportunity to take a more leisurely look at the Christmas Village. I don't like to disparage the efforts the City Council, even though I usually do so! This year there are a few more fairground rides. There may be a few more stalls also, but most of them are selling takeaway burgers etc. or sweets. Very few selling anything related to Christmas or crafts.

Nonetheless the stalls probably look enchanting to children, and there are a couple of rides for adults and a couple for children as well as several beer tents. Maybe the place is heaving in the evenings.

The film was quite good, it was "Sully" about the landing in the Hudson River in 2009. Was it really so long ago, it feels much more recent.
