Incomplete

It's one of those local stories  where nobody now knows if there's any truth to it or if it's an urban legend.  Clare College bridge appears to sport 14 stone balls but on close inspection one of the balls is not all there.  The story goes that the builder thought he wasn't being paid enough for the job so decided to leave it permanently unfinished.  When you know which ball it is, it's hard not to spot from the river.
