It really hasn't got light today - fog and murk prevailing. Nonetheless it is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception today which has somehow morphed into the Feast Day of Christmas Shopping - no I don't quite see the connection. Anyway, the churches were doing a good business as were the shops - 10% off. We went into Skibbereen, Himself wanting to get nuts for his nutroasts (turkeys are safe with us) and some fairy lights, and I wanted to go the Heritage Centre to inquire about the whereabouts of an an elusive townland. The townland remains elusive as the Heritage Centre is shut for the winter, but nuts and fairylights purchased. This rather nice old tiled floor caught my eye - the door was ajar, irresistible. Perfect for today's Abstract Challenge which is Geometrical, thanks to Ingeborg for keeping it all up and running.
