grasshopper

out in north texas early this morning with grand plans of jumping out of a plane on my birthday with 15 or so other intrepid people.

texas weather had other plans, but that's okay. it was unbelievably cool all day, just hanging out (unseasonable for us this time of year) and wondering if the clouds would clear. they didn't, so we'll have to come back another day. but this is the best birthday i have had in some time.

when i walked into BRIT to meet sam for the first time, i could have never imagined how much this place and these people would change my life and help me work out where i am going. though if you look back, i definitely knew it was important. i have met some great friends and people, and this day just reaffirmed all of that.

erin had a grasshopper friend hanging out with her for around an hour. they are so beautiful. it's hard not to be amazed.
