Fan in waiting

The Sky TV was dodgy today so I phoned an engineer - coming out on Tuesday. In the meantime it was easier all round to keep the tv on the one channel (as changing channels involved having to switch everything off and then on again, and even then it sometimes took a few attempts to get anything back on screen). BBC1 was chosen as the evening's channel and all was reasonable until it got to Casualty. Hadn't watched that for well over two decades!

I texted Mark during it to tell him the above and he replied sarcastically: "Match of the Day will be on later, so you'll be looking forward to that".

I was sorting through some carrier bags at the time which had been lying in the study. They were full of all sorts of stuff including things of J's that had long been earmarked for the charity shop. About 20mins after Mark's text I delved into the bottom of a bag and found the above wrist band! Had to take a photo to send back to Mark - telling him I was now all set for the programme!
