Concentration

A little while ago I thought instead of squeezing our yearly trip to paint tree decorations into a weekend we could do it in the quiet week after ballet finished. I booked it and was looking forward to it. That was before the quiet week ended up having two carol services, a trip to Stevenage with Beavers bowling and two evenings out! Needless to say I wasn't really looking forward to it at pick up time, particularly as the kids have been awful with each other recently.

However, they were lovely the whole time we were in the shop. Helped each other get paint colours, use the hairdryer etc. Will calmly read his reading book to me and ate his tea without complaint while C took over 40mins longer to complete hers. It was an extremely nice evening.
