View from the Castle

Visited Edinburgh Castle today - the 1st time in many years. I had hoped to blip the firing of the 1 o'clock gun but unfortunately but the pics were not in focus. The Fire Martial was amazing - a fine military man with lots of interesting information. I do like this view back down to the city centre. The extra is the 1993 altar cloth in St Margaret's Chapel in the Castle.
 Earlier in the morning we took a trip on the big wheel which gives a great view. I was relieved to get a seat on the way home!
As I mentioned in my other blip (noni) we were delighted to see that Jessops are opening a new store in Castle Street on Friday.
