Fido on his favourite rug

Fido is back home from kennels.  But he seems more stiff this evening - I think I'll have to call the vet tomorrow - see if there is anything more we can do for his arthritis.

Emergency blip, after a bad day at work.  A shortage of junior doctors, which the managers appear to believe is appropriately sorted by cancelling the senior doctors' office time.  One quoted as saying "shortage of junior doctors, but excellent senior cover" - when what he should be saying is "shortage of junior doctors, but EMERGENCY senior cover".  We can't cover the vacancies in the junior doctors rota (vacancies at least in part due to the impending imposition of the new contract), because no-one will work in Norwich for the "capped" locum rates, when they can work in London for more and work less hard!

The same manager wants to know when the January rota for the seniors will be available.  I might have finished the amendments and been able to send it out today, if I hadn't been stuck on the shop floor!
