As they Illuminate the Darkness of the Payment

Work trip over.... no drive home. train.

Train from Leeds to Edinburgh seems to go slow ; we left at 1608 and didn't get into Edinburgh until 1920.

On the way, I had to do that head bouncing thing, where I was falling asleep sitting up, because I could not longer hold my eyes open; I am not an attractive public sleeper.

Once we had arrived, we had to run from one side of the station to the other, and squeeze into our seats in the 8 seated first class "compartment".   Thank heaven for free coffee and fudge.

Into Glasgow, and there followed a walk from one station to the other....
I don't know about you, but I love looking at the Street Lights - but them men.... couldn't see them if their lives depended on it.   I dawdled along behind them, and grabbed a couple of shots.   Buchanan Street was the best... especially because of the wet pavements, and the lights reflecting in them. I would have stood and gazed until after the next train, but those two.  Nope.
