Archangel

Up early (for a Saturday) to go through to Edinburgh.

Confused messages mean a solo train journey with two almond croissants and entertainment supplied by the 8 year old Olympia sitting across from me.

For a day at the Edinburgh Festivals she had packed a comic, swapping cards, pencil case and stashed at the bottom of her bag was a tub of marbles and a set of wooden handled skipping ropes.

The only thing more akward for her to carry for the day was if she had one of these splendid Herald Archangel awards that Mr M is holding. The reason for my journey to the East was to hold on to his jacket tales of theatrical brilliance as he received the award.
