A paddling of ducks

Apparently this is one of the collective nouns applied to groups of ducks. This 'raft' (an alternative) of tufted ducks on Rutland Water kept together whilst almost taking it in turn to dive.
Travelled from home to Kent, leaving in drizzle but much warmer 10 degrees at dawn, into sunshine on the eastern side. The high is now over north Central Europe, its circulation bringing in the mild south westerlies.
