Think Fast, Peter Lorre

My Dear Chap,

More films today. "Think Fast, Mr. Moto" was probably considered somewhat progressive in its day in that the hero, a Japanese detective outsmarts everybody.

However, the fact that he is played by a German, and the tinky-tonk "Far Eastern" music on the soundtrack kind of pulls the rug out from under its noble aspirations.

Still, it was an enjoyable B film and made for a good start to the day. The day further brightened with the arrival of cat toys. The lads promptly went nuts. There were fat tails and capering about. However, they are now sensibly back in bed sleeping it off.
