After travelling 600 miles yesterday it was time to head back north, first thing we had to do was to pick up the Kia from the garage. Got it back but it still sounded rough, but we headed off and managed to get further than the last time but only just! Got 5 miles up the road this time before the car started playing up, managed to get off the motorway and into a layby before it gave up completely. Luckily Julie was just behind in the new car so it was a case of unload the Kia into it. Left a note saying that it was broken down and contact details as the layby was getting dug up today. Anyway we headed up the road and after a hour we realised that we have no idea where the car is so now have to wait for someone to phone us lol. Finally got home at 4:30 on Monday morning so I got just over a hours sleep before heading for work again.
