That's how many years Finland has been independent, and December 6th is  the Independence Day. My thoughts kept going there today, to things present and things past. John and I had coffee and a cinnamon roll (pulla) to celebrate, and part way through the day I remembered to put the flag out. Happy Birthday, Finland!
