Golden light.....

It was quiet as dawn broke at 5.30am, a little moisture in the air, calm and peaceful as the gentle silhouettes of the vanilla tree and cabbage tree glowed in golden light, a rainbow graced the sky for just a split second. At that hour of the morning my reflexes were a little slow off the mark, so no rainbow from me today.

My extra looking to the east, soft apricot shades through the sky, alas this wonderful light was over in just 15mins and a few hours later steady rain was falling, the sun never returned.

Mum and I visited R today, he's spending more time in his room lying on his bed. Talking and comprehending is so much harder now but he still smiles and his eyes tell us he appreciates us just being with him.
