Earthballs

A full day today, including an evening out with my National Trust colleagues - fellow volunteers and staff - our Christmas meal. I had a walk this afternoon, as I was in need of fresh air and exercise, but it wasn't particularly pleasant; cold, damp and misty. I found these old Earthballs, which had begun to release their precious cargo of spores.
