WEE CLAMPS

I love these wee clamps - I bought a dozen of them for peanuts - they're super crude! I just tarted them up a bit by lining their jaws with chap-leather. Been using them for 30 years at least.

Here I'm putting in a flamed maple insert to replace a bit that went missing - this back is extra thin - 1.5 mm - delicate stuff. The guitar is beautifully made by somebody (whose signature is perfectly unreadable) for a big company. It's fallen on hard times...

But - CC's a wizard at finding bargains on e-bay - bought this for €50 - with a bit of TLC it should fetch ten times that!
